WPA Competition
Today I woke-up and went to the WPA competition. WPA stands for Washington Piper's Association (bagpipes). Shoe joined me, supported me, and cheered me on all throughout the day. It was very, very fun. I played two different combinations of tunes. The first was a 2/4 march called the Australian Ladies, the other combination was a strathspey and reel, the Calidonian Canal and Colonel McLeod. Both tunes are fun to play and, very interesting. I placed third and fourth to seven other great competitors. Afterwards most of the group and I went to Red Robin to celebrate. Today was a very good day.
